A bright and early start for some hiking. I decided to walk up Mini Adam's Peak, a rock outcrop with great views of the surrounding area. Setting off so early meant it was still quite pleasant, relatively quiet and not too hot. The walk wasn't too strenuous. It's the heat and humidity that zaps the energy out of me as I huffed and puffed my way up the peak.
The views were lovely from up top.

I continued walking through tea plantations when I found a green tea factory. I had a little tour. Learnt a bit about the green tea making process before having a lovely cup of tea.

9 arch bridge - as it's name suggests it's a rail bridge with 9 arches. I hiked my way down through tea plantations and down a well worn dirt track to get down to the tracks. It was really nice once I got down to the arches. Hiking back up, was a bit of a sweaty affair.

I decided to try Ayurvedic massage again, even after my first highly weird experience. This time when I spoke to the massage parlour, I said less oil and can I actually get massaged, not just rubbed?
" So you want hard massage"?, said the shop.
"Yes", I replied
"Wait 5 mins, I get strong lady for you". The man makes a call.
I wait and then a tiny little lady turns up, who is obviously heavily pregnant. "She strong lady", says the man, "she give strong massage"
I couldn't stop staring at her belly. I just nodded and went in for my massage. I was more concerned about her water breaking.
He was right, she did give a strong massage!
